As the year approaches it's end, I've been thinking about the various things that happened: all the chances that I took and all the others I've missed, the accomplishments and the failures. This year has definitely been one of a kind, there's been a lot of times where I have felt overwhelmed and I know it's not just me. But while some stuff has felt disheartening there are have always been some nice moments throughout the year here and there, some for all of us, some more personal.

Whatever it has been this year, and everything up to this point, I'd like to believe it has lead us to a better version of ourselves, and towards a better future... and we are not gonna stop. Even if we are not where we want to be right now, we'll keep going, always moving forward. It hasn't been easy, and it probably won't be for a while, but we've come too far already, and we are not gonna stop.

Let's not forget everything we've learned this year, and make the next year one to remember.

Boy I've been busy. But I'm finally back!

We are currently in the middle point of the year (give or take a few days), and I've been thinking about everything that has happened so far. This year so far has been... unexpected to say the least. Some of the mayor social media platforms seem to have engaged in self destructing behaviors, the mainstream video game industry is going downhill with low quality products and some rich people unfortunately lost their lives in an incident regarding a submarine malfunction (with mixed reactions from the general public), just to mention some things.

I feel like there are a lot of uncertainties moving forward for what remains of the year and for the future in general, specially for video games, social media and the internet as a whole. It's certainly overwhelming when you stop to think how much everything might drastically change for our daily life stuff that we just take for granted...

So, why am I bringing this up? Well, considering what has happened so far and having some expectations on what will happen next, I think this is a good time to make some resolutions for what's left of the year: Mid-year resolutions. Just like new-year resolutions, but in the middle of the year (duh). That way even if I DID make some new year resolutions and it JUST so happened that I forgot all about it, I can still make something about it (even if it's been 6 months). And if you are reading this and feel like it might be a good idea, I encourage you to do the same

So, I'll write some stuff I want to do here (as in, to do in Newgrounds) so I don't forget about them and to hold myself accountable when I inevitably forget about it anyway:

• Upload more frequently
• Update this page
• Polish my drawing skills
• Work on (and if possible finish) my game
• ???

Hello and happy April Fools aftermath! Hope you enjoyed the spontaneous clock day on the site and my little prank from yesterday. As a matter of fact I was a bit curious about making something like the piece I made, and yesterday was the perfect chance to try it out. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and I hope you liked it too.

As for what I want to do moving forward, I made a little bucket list for the immediate future:

• Finish the game I'm making for Flash Forward.
• Change profile pic and draw a page background.
• Write something for the Short Story contest.
• What is a PICO and how do you celebrate it?

After improving my confidence and drawing skills, and inspired by the fact that I need money, it is with great pleasure to inform you that I will now be taking on the gargantuan and totally non-delusional task of drawing the good stuff. In fact, I have quit college and my job just to guarantee that I don't have any distractions to this newfound passion of mine. Oh don't worry, every famous billionaire nowadays quit college at some point or another, so I am sure I'll be just fine. There will clearly be a lot of difficulties in this path I have chosen for myself, but I'm confident I'll overcome each and every single one of them to bring you the most beautiful pieces I can draw.

And now I present to you a little sneak peak of what I can do, featuring Laura showing you something extra special ;)

I will now begin to work on everything that I need, I'll reach out to you tomorrow with all the info about my drawings, commisions and whatnot. That's all from me for now, thank you all for your support and I'll see you next time.

So, a lot has happened to me since the beginning of the year, in fact, I've pretty much entered a new stage in my life (at least that's how it feels). This currently means a lot of stress (and lack of sleep) has been pilling up as I try to get a foothold on a new schedule to account for everything that has been happening so far. On the bright side, if everything goes according to plan (please let everything go according to plan) I should be able to tie a lot of loose ends, like finishing college for instance. Unfortunately, I won't have as much time to do stuff that I want to do until I sort and organize everything that I have to do. So if you are browsing through my page and see that I have not uploaded anything for a long period of time, don't worry. I don't plan on going anywhere.

Ok, now onto more positive stuff: I'm planning on making a game!

It will feature Karla, a new character I have been working on (and that you can meet on my as of now latest drawing) in an old Flash-game style adventure. The plan is to have it ready before the Flash Forward deadline, but I'll still make it even if I don't meet the deadline so look forward to it.

But for now I go, for my duty calls and I need to get some sugar to make it through the day. See you all soon.

As the new year draws closer, I've been thinking about all that has happened so far. I finally got myself to learn how to draw stuff and got to show it to other people. I explored with great expectation what this place had to offer and was not disappointed. I tested my limits and, though it was difficult, managed to overcome them. I have learned a great deal about what I want to do and how to do it and there is still so much left to learn. So many things that come to an end and so many others that begin, it almost feels unreal.

And yet, this is just the beginning.

So, let's make this new year a good one: here's to all the wonders we'll see in the nearby future, to all the people we'll meet, to all the challenges we'll overcome and to all the achievements we'll unlock. Expect to hear soon from me and I hope to see you all soon.
